Protest Resources
Recently, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a black man named George Floyd was brutally murdered by a police officer who sat on his neck despite his pleas that he couldn’t breathe. A video filmed by bystanders of this brutality spread across social media, resulting in protests erupting across the US calling for the end of violence against African American people and public support of the Black Lives Matter movement. Though not everyone may be able to march and protest to show their support of Black Lives Matter and an end to police brutality, below are a compilation of resources to help you get involved in different ways. By signing a petition, donating, or informing yourself, you can make a positive impact. At the same time, feel free to write in on this issue! Stay safe and healthy.
