Male Supremacy

Male supremacy

We pretend that we have a voice

We pretend that we are content

We pretend that we still aren’t in the age of

Male control

Split as a whole

Homeless kids

Under fed

With no bed to lay their heads

The age of rape and loss of dignity

The age in which a pair of panties gives more consent then her words

The age in which it’s my body but not my business

Our leaders are

Starving children

Raping women

Living sinners

Who fill their pockets with your dinner

If you don’t obey you’ll be living in sin

That is what they tell us

They tell women don’t deserve equal pay

They tell women they don’t have a say

They tell women to just shut up and pray

Because according to Timothy- “ Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.”

They tell us things have changed but they haven’t

Because our leaders say “Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she’s a woman?”

They want to keep us down

They don’t want us around

They want us to stay silent

And if we don’t they get violent

SLAP

HIT

BANG

One hit is all it takes

For him to break her face

Bust lip, broken jaw, lying on stretcher praying for an angelic messenger

We pretend that we have a voice

We pretend that we are content

We pretend that we still aren’t in the age of

Male control

Split as a whole

Homeless kids

Under fed

With no bed to lay their heads

The age of rape and loss of dignity

We are in the age of male supremacy

Little Star

(Can be read up or down)

Little star do you love the moon?

He makes you swoon

Does he not love you?

He loves the sun

Does he not see how kind sweet and bright you shine?

It never matters cause she is the sun, bright and large rising from the East in her eternal beauty

It doesn’t matter that you are always there

He will always die to give her air

It doesn’t matter how much love you give

Little star do you love the moon?
