Indian Springs Traffic

Dear Indian Springs students,

No matter how many years go by I always see one trend that appears every year: traffic problems. If you don't know what I mean by “traffic problems,” imagine this: flex just ended and you're heading down the C building walkway. Then suddenly, an impenetrable wall of freshmen, who have no intention of moving, blocks your path. The only way to get around this horde is to engage in the most awkward interaction, slither past them, and head to class. This is a universal experience that is especially prevalent around the C building intersection, and I am writing to hopefully nullify this problem. If you have ever been to NYC or any place with an enormous amount of sidewalk traffic, you would understand the unspoken rules of the walkway. One of these rules is not standing side by side and creating a blockade in the walkway, especially if you're moving at three nanoseconds per year. Another rule is to not walk in the middle of the walkway, as the normal flow of traffic in the USA is to stay on the right side of the road. A general rule of thumb is to follow most traffic laws whether you're driving or walking–in any place with traffic. In addition to these basic rules, if you're going to stop to talk to someone, please hug a side of the walkway or get out of the way—because, sadly, not everyone wants to play Crossy Roads to get to class.

With all that said, I hope this short essay will prevent Indian Springs from looking like 280 during rush hour.
