Knives Out: Wake Up Dead Man

Wake Up Dead Man is a shockingly funny murder mystery based around a small-town church. The movie follows Father Judd, a new priest, as he gets to know the colorful cast of church members. When the head priest is stabbed during a service, Father Judd is approached by private detective Benoit Blanc for help solving the case. Together, the duo uncover some surprising secrets about the church members. The plot twists will keep you enthralled until the end credits. I truly had no idea where the story was headed.  With very low gore, this movie is a good choice for those who want to enjoy Halloween without vomiting. Four stars out of five.
